I read a lot of fanfiction, and when I like it, I link to it. I started these lists for my own reference, so I would know where to find the good stuff when I needed some comfort reading, but if they're of use to other people then that's swell.

Obviously, any recs list is highly subjective. I have very specific tastes and you might not share them; but if you do, please leave a comment for the author on their story.

People often ask me why I haven't recced their favourite fic. Sometimes the answer is that it wasn't my cup of tea, but often I either haven't read it, or I read it but got distracted before noting it down. I am always on the lookout for new reading material, so if you know of something you think I ought to have recced, please let me know via my handy form, and it will automatically appear on my 'to-read' page.
